Independence Day

We had a busy, fun-filled 4th. The fun began on Thursday night. We took the boys to watch the air show at Kaboom Town in Addison. We didn't stay for the fireworks because we knew the boys would be up late the next night. And our kids can't handle staying up late too many nights in a row.

I wanted to put this picture on of Colin and me. He hates his picture taken and this one actually turned out decent. He's so sweet!

Friday afternoon we had my family over for swimming and grilling. It was the first time since we bought our house that Chris has been swimming in the neighborhood pool! Very relaxing, and during lunch Cameron left the table and went to sleep on his bed. We didn't even realize he'd gone to his bed. It was definately a kodak moment. He's never just put himself to bed because he was worn out. It sure helped him last the rest of the day, though.

Dinner was at Chris' parents home with cousins. Chris got the homemade ice cream started. He was having fun posing for the camera.

Austin was trying his hardest to blow a bubble. He looks like he's on something. Come to think of it I wonder if those scented bubbles really did something to him!

We stayed around for fireworks, and then headed home. It was a very nice day.
