So about two weeks ago Colin wanted me to try a trick on his razor scooter. Sure thing! Mom can do anything a 7 yr. old can do, right!? In my lame attempt to jump over a crack in the sidewalk (all air under the scooter) I fell and hurt the ball of my left foot. It was classic. As I was looking around to make sure no one saw Colin says 'mom you didn't do it right!' I replied 'oh, you think!' I was just getting into a running schedule after injuring my ankle 4 months ago and now can't run again. It actually kills to wear any shoe I own for any length of time.

GO SHOPPING!
Nothing big but I found these awesome slippers at the Allen Outlets. They are Dr. Scholls memory Fit (foam) insoles. They are huge, but oh so comfortable. I also stopped at a different store and found some red and brown high heels for church that I won't be able to wear for a while, but there were some great sales going on! Oh, and gel inserts worked wonders in my flat sandals at church today.
I'm hoping my feet are on the mends!

I think it comes with having children...not only do we lose brain cells, but we become more accident prone. I think I actually need to realize that I'm heavier than I was 20 years ago and I'm not as agile either!!!

Oh Mindy, you and your lower extremities! Sorry to hear of your accident, but what a cool mom to try scooter tricks. Those slipper/flip flops look absolutely delish. I want some and my feet are fine!
