KIDS!

Just to start out this post, I wanted to share a cute picture of my sister and mom and I. This was taken at Katrina's bridal shower a few weeks ago. She is getting married this Friday, March 10th. I can't believe it. I'm so excited for her, though. It's starting to sink in the closer it gets. I wonder if it is for her!!! She is marrying a guy from Denton, Aaron Lawyer who's family is actually friends with some guys I used to hang out with in high school. What a small world!
Kids are funny! Plain and simply put...kids say and do the darndest things. So, when Colin doesn't want to go to sleep, he'll venture out of his room and complain and beg us to stay up. But Cameron is made from a totally different mold. He'll lay in his bed and sing for a while, yell at his brother, or just do his own thing. Once Colin falls asleep Cameron has free reign. This picture is of Cameron about a year and a half ago. Yes, he fell asleep on the window sill looking out the window! We couldn't believe he was actually laying there and looked comfortable. We had the window shade but that didn't stop him.

We thought that was just a one time thing. Oh, were we wrong. He goes to sleep with a hat on all the time, we've found him asleep with the bean bag chair on top of him, and the latest crack up was this next picture. After coming in to check on him a few times before here is what we found...Cameron is asleep UNDER HIS BUNK BED! Definately a kodak moment! We just died laughing.

And just a few nights ago, we found him asleep on his floor after it looks as though he'd been playing with this truck.

So, he is just does his own little thing when he isn't quite ready for bed. He's been caught in the bathroom going through drawers, or looking in the mirror. On numerous occasions we hear the door stopper being played with. So, we'll go in the room and he's in the closet playing with it. At least he's been kind enough to turn the light on and close the door to the closet. Last night I went in because I heard some noise coming from their room. Cameron was sitting on the Lincoln Logs bucket, had his spiderman hat on, and was rocking a baby in his arms. It was the sweetest thing.

These are the moments you cherish!
