We celebrated the 4th a day early and went to the lake with some friends. We figured the lake would be too crowded on the 4th!
One couple brought their kayaks and Colin loved that he could row it all by himself! He wants us to get one now. Chris isn't opposed either! The sand sure was hot, though. It was nice to have a small group and just hang out without worrying too much about the kids getting into trouble! the boys were zonked by the time we got home. We left them in the car for a little bit so they could get a decent nap and not wake up cranky. It worked.

On the 4th Chris took care of our lawn, we helped his parents work on a project and then saw the movie Night at the Museum 2. It was so cute. Then we swam at my parents' neighborhood pool and had some KFC. It turned out to be a fun day with no pics!
