One of the main firestations close by allows kids to come and ride the kid jeeps on summer Friday nights. The other boys were with friends so I took Austin to ride the jeeps. A miniature city with roads, street lights, buildings and even a toll booth are what the kids get to practice their road safety on. Austin had a blast! He even chauferred a 3 yr. old around when her legs were just a bit too short to reach the pedal. Inside volunteers simulate a fire and teach the kids how to kick out the window screen and get out of a house.
