I COULD USE YOUR IDEAS

Hi everyone! I am teaching our lesson in the young womens' class at church on Easter Sunday. I am going to focus on teachings of the Savior, mainly loving one another. A concern we have is that of 'cliques'. A never ending battle, but always nice to have a little lesson on!
I am asking you to leave a comment about any POSITIVE examples that you have had or someone you know has had regarding cliques. You were feeling left out and someone included you, you noticed someone who was physically impaired being treated wrongly and you stepped in, the love you had/have for another that might not be 'in crowd' material, etc.
No names need to be given, and I want to focus on positive experiences. I want the girls to realize that even if you are in the 'in crowd' you are a better person for stepping out and accepting everyone!
Thanks for your help! It's fun to share experiences of others' that I know. It makes it more personal!

When I was a junior in high school a new girl moved into our ward. She had no friends and I decided to add her to our group and be her friend. She became one of my best friends and to this day we are friends. She really was a great friend and I was always glad that I decided to include her. She was there for me many times when I needed a true friend.

I watched a young woman in our ward who is a great example of Christ-like love. She is an extraordinary girl - student body president, homecoming queen and lead of their hs musical. One day during opening exercises of YW she noticed a less-active, overweight girl (who often smells like smoke)sitting alone. She left her cheerleader friend she was sitting by and went and sat down and talked to her. She asked her other friend to go with her but she wouldn't so she went alone.
