We've had a very nice Christmas break with all of our family in town. We were lucky enough to have Chris' brother Scott and his family & Megan come for the holiday. We got to enjoy Ryans' family again, too! Aside from a little sickness with me and my dad, everyone else made it through two weeks and two families without getting sick. Although we are very sleep deprived. Hopefully we'll be ready for school to start in two days!!!
Christmas Eve we decorated Aunt Megans' delicious sugar cookies after dinner. This is a closeup of Haydens' sprinkle attack. He was lovin' the sprinkles.

The latest craze in elementary schools p.e. classes is speed stacks. You race to see how fast you can finish the circuit of stacking/breaking down cups. Colin was so excited that Santa was able to find them.
The dinosaur exhibit at the Heard Museum was not quite what the kids expected, but at least they got to climb on one dinosaur!
The highlight of the break (at least with four of the kids) was the train exhibit at North Park mall. Cameron, Austin, Hayden, & Bridger absolutely LOVE trains. As long as they're alone they each can play for hours with their trains. The hard part is when sharing is involved! The pictures are all in sepia because I have an idea of using these pictures in Cameron & Austins' room.
it's not a train exhibit without a few Thomas the Tank Engine characters!
I enjoyed having Kaitlyn and Emily over while their parents were shopping. I think they had fun, too!
