Projects

Homecoming season is in full swing and my brother who is a senior is attending two schools' festivities. He asked me if I would make a mum for his date for Allens' game night and also for PESHs' homecoming the following weekend. I finished the Allen mum and it was a lot of fun. I started with the premade mums from Michaels, and then embellished. I'll post the PESH mum when I'm done. I just bought the supplies today. I hope she likes them!

...and my friend Ashley made me a cute R.I.P. halloween decoration that was inspired by Over the Tipsy Top. I think it is so cute! We've seen a lot of different pumpkin decoration ideas as well and thought I'd try one for myself. I bought a real pumpkin because I was at Walmart and I wanted to try it. Then if it didn't work, I can throw it away and not feel bad. I used craft paint and then modge podge and glitter. I will use a good spray paint next time. The craft paint scratches off too easily. Here's the finished product-

I have other pumpkins that I will be working on as well. Not the same old orange pumpkin any longer!

That looks good -just as good as any craft store mum. Way to go! Okay, now it's time to start making those mums for a massive profit! 400 buckaroos apiece.
