Chris participated in the Hotter 'N Hell bike ride in Witchita Falls last weekend. It is a 100 mile ride. He just got into road biking early last year and did the 60 mile ride last August. He really enjoyed the ride this year and said he'd like to do it again. One of these days I'll join him and the biking world! Here is Chris' nice sunburn between his jersey sleeve and his gloves. He isn't dumb...he did put on sunscreen but he said he must've sweated it all off.
He left Friday afternoon and didn't return until late Saturday night. Since my brother in law was also out of town I invited Ashley and her kids to spend the night. It was a last 'hoorah' before school started on Monday (pictures to come in the next post). The kids had a good time and so did Ash and I. We watched a movie after the kids kind of went to bed. Although we had to pause it a bunch of times because they kept coming out it was still nice to do something out of the ordinary.

I asked Elisabeth to stand next to Colin so I could get a picture of the two of them. Obviously when I put the camera into view he saw and tried to conceal his face, but I caught him red handed.

Uhhhhhh??? The Bike riding thing is not for me. I could barely last a mile I'm sure. I am not in the best of shape. I think I will stick to yoga & pilates.. that's more up my alley. Anyway, I would love to stop by your place on our way through but my in-laws are driving with us & brock will only have 6days to get there so we are only stopping in Dallas late Friday nite to sleep then keep going. We for sure will stop though when we just make a visit I promise!
