well, we've been living at Chris' parents' house while we await apt. management to fix the mold problems in our apt. We think it's a result of the sink overspill over a month ago. We found mold in Austins' room and will not live there until we know for sure it's not living inside the wall as well. Maintenance came and killed the stuff on the wall, and repainted, but we can't feel secure going back unless we know that it's gone inside of the wall. The carpet and pad were wet and they are working on fixing that as well. We're blessed to have family nearby to bunk with and wonderful friends that are willing to let us hang out with them. We moved in last Thurs. evening and after numerous attempts to explain to management what our concerns were, I think after them coming to the apt. yesterday to actually SHOW them what our issues were...'by golly I think they've got it'! They better or we're ready for battle! (figuratively speaking of course)

Thanks for the comment, and yes we have been extremely busy getting back into the swing of schooling! i am soo sorry to hear about your apartment! Mom didn't tell me! we had some strange things growing in our first apartment in Austin but they would NEVER do anything about it! I hope things get done!
we had mushrooms growing in our bathroom carpet a few years ago. our shower had started leaking so we had to go into the wall and fix a leak and then retile our shower.
