OK ladies...has anyone been into the Garden Ridge Mall in Plano lately? I was there yesterday and walked by a kiosk that had DownEast Basics clothing. I was so excited that the shop was here IN TEXAS and just assumed it was only here for the holiday season. There are some shirts down at the bookstore, but not the selection a store would have. Well, I went back this morning to purchase a few things and the franchise owners are one of my old yw leaders and her friend! You might remember her- Sandra (now in Allen 5th). Anyways, we got to talking. They are actually opening a store off 121 and Custer...right in the Target shopping center in February!!! I know a few of you live close by and will have to give her some business! I told her I'd come and work for her, so we'll see what happens when it gets closer. I wouldn't mind earning a little extra money-maybe help get some of our extra school loans paid off. And by helping, I mean my money would go towards clothes for me and the boys! I'm not expecting a huge income or anything if I end up working...but it's somewhere that I would love to work (esp. for the discount) and I could work for her! Now, no one go and take my position ok!!!

I work out with one the ladies who owns that booth so I've already made a trip there and am planning another one!!
Awesome. I love Downeast Basics! And an actual store? I'm there (but totally wouldn't take your position of course)! That is awesome. You get the shirts for cheap I hear too because I believe you have to wear them for work. Lucky!!

Oh! I love Downeast. They only have a kiosk here in Boise. I would love it if they had a store. SO Sandra Hamblin is one of the owners? What a small world. I love Sandra. Oh I wish I lived in Texas for so many reasons!

Wow, even though its in TX and I'm in OK I'm glad to know it. I may have to make a stop some time when I'm down south - although those trips seem to be fewer and fewer between lately.
I am jealous!! I have to order online, there aren't any here in Ga.. Maybe they will spread East!
