Thursday night Colin had a music program at school. He was also scheduled to have his first basketball practice that night. We'd already committed to the school activity so he really didn't want to be there. I think he cracked a tiny smile ONE time! He was nervous and embarrassed because they also did a little square dance with- yes, you guessed it- GIRLS! He sang and knew all the dance moves...but he was not going to enjoy himself! I helped hang the banners with a few other moms and the music teachers gave us a poinsettia for helping out. I thought that was very kind.
