So, yesterday my dad came home from the Philippines!!! He wasn't scheduled to come back until Dec. 15th, but changed his plans. He will have to go for a week in December and then maybe in January again, but he's here to stay now.
It actually turned out to be a WONDERFUL homecoming for him, mom, well all of us. While mom was picking him up from the airport Shawn called to see if I was coming over to hang out. He said he was bored. Cameron was taking a bath b/c we'd planned to go to dinner with everyone. So, we all got ready and headed over to my parents' house. Shawn called on my way there and said 'call me when you get close. I want to get Austin out of the car.' My thoughts were 'ok Shawn whatever!' We pulled up, he came to get Austin and I walked in the house first and lo and behold guess who was standing in the entry hall...

I screamed and was in shock. They were supposed to still be in Wisconsin for Thanksgiving. What an awesome surprise! They got my reaction on video and a little while later got mom/dads' reactions on camera, too. It was perfect! Shawn kept a lookout for the van and we were all ready when they came in the door. Here's their reaction-
Mom screamed SO loud that Emily started crying. Katrina and Aaron were there and Chris met us at the resturant. What a wonderful day before Thanksgiving! All of my siblings will be at our inlaws for Thanksgiving so it was a nice treat to be together this weekend. I'm so thankful for BOTH of our families. They are so loving, understanding and supportive of us. Nothing is more important than being together with our families. Our grandparents, aunts & uncles are the best, too. We miss you all!
Emily & Austin- our little fatties! Austin thought it was great fun to knock Emily over, but only once. He learned that we must be SOFT with babies that are smaller than us.
