Sadly (not really) I had to get a new camera after dropping my old one. It sure was worth the birthday gift, though. It's so much fun to play around with. Here are some shots I took of some foliage around the area. I love autumn and all the beautiful colors around.
The camera can pick out certain colors and leave everything else black and white. I wondered how some people did this with pics that I 've seen before.

And last weekend we had our super saturday at church. I signed up to sew a bag and then I taught the plaster clock class.
The teacher picked out the fabric and I thought it was very cute.

I actually messed up the first clock I made by spray painting the stain too dark. Luckily the vinyl letters/numbers peeled off and transfered easily.

That is so cool! You are so lucky....I can't wait till my camera breaks! I want the upgrade bad but can't justify the expensive with a perfectly fine one!

The pictures are cool! I have photoshop and still have no idea to be able to make everything black and white but one color or one thing. It goes to show that photoshop is NOT user friendly. I do have a book on it...it's just getting the motivation to read it.
And I like the size of your bag. I may copy you and cut mine down a little especially that I have changed the folders and they aren't so big!!
That camera takes great pictures. Maybe I need to drop mine. Happy birthday - missed it by a few days.

Hey, I just thought you might find it amusing that when I went upstairs to get Luke this morning he had been sleeping in his own puke. Yep, the ONE night I forget to check on him before bed. The weird thing is I didn't even hear ANYTHING through the monitor! (?) What a mess.
