Cameron started preschool this morning. I'm more emotional about it than I ever was with Colin. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that (it's a dreary rainy day) & he's been saying he doesn't want to go for the past two weeks. We went to meet his teacher yesterday and I had to carry him into the classroom just so I could take a peek and say hello! We didn't really talk about it any more the rest of the day.
He woke up happy as a lark this morning, was excited to have his lunch packed and was ready to go.
Colin was a great help when Cameron asked him if he was a big boy when he went to preschool. Colin said yes I was and was very positive and kind to his brother! Whew!

All in all it was a surprisingly pleasant morning...aside from the fact that the power turned off right as I started blow drying my hair. Thank goodness for hats.
Another funny story about our Cam. Sunday he was asked to give a prayer in the childrens' class when all the kids ages 4-11 are together. He is shy about praying even at home. So, Chris said the second they announced that he was going to say the prayer he climbed under his little chair and wouldn't come out! Chris went up to try to persuade him to do it, but he was not going to budge. Luckily Colin is getting more brave in his 'old age' and he jumped up at Chris' request to fill in for Cameron!

I can't believe he crawled under his chair, I feel like Kate has been close to doing something like that before. I hope Cameron enjoys pre-school. Kate didn't want to go either until I told her that she wouldn't have to play with the boys and then she was fine.
What a cute kid! It's crazy to me that you have 2 kids in school now. How often is preschool? I'm sure it's a little weird for you to just have Austin at home during that time (although kind of nice too). Hope he liked it...way to go Cameron!
What a cute picture. I remember crying and crying when Misty went to school. It's hard to share them with the world when you have been their whole world...
Just ask Christa if you want a good story for getting shy at church...she collapsed in a sobbing heap at the stand (in sacrament meeting) before!
Ladies: preschool is twice a week from 9-2. Nice break, but yes Brianne we were kind of lost without him! The library has a rhyme time for babies that we went to and then I visited a friend with 3 month old twins.
By the way he loved preschool, but it sure wore him out. He slept from 3-4:30...so we'll see how soon he falls asleep this evening.
Oh Cameron! What a sweetheart. I hope he enjoys it and I love hearing that Colin is being such a loving big brother. It pulls on my heart strings.
But you must have to admit that only have Austy at home is quite nice. Other than him following you around while you vacuum!
