Monday, Monday

Well, another weekend come and gone. Chris' sister Megan flew home to visit for a few days. It was great to see her again so soon. Normally it's only once a year (Christmas).

Chris also rode in his first official bike ride. It wasn't a race, just a 'tour'. He went with two other friends to Paris...ummm Paris, Texas to participate in the Tour de Paris. He had signed up for the full 60 mile ride, but they had drop off points throughout. He was successful at completing the entire thing. It was nice that he could do that and even better that he came home and mentioned it'd be fun for us to do as a couple. I couldn't agree more, honey! I'll post pictures that his friend took when I can track them down. The gear is great. Have you ever wondered if road bikers' bums get sore? Well, yes, but not as bad as they would be if it weren't for the gel cushioned biker shorts they wear. They're FABULOUS (I mean the comfort Chris...not just the way they look)!!!

Tonight a bunch of us from church met at the pool for a BBQ. It was a lot of fun, but at the same time bitter sweet as we were saying goodbye to a couple that lives here in our complex. They are moving to Scottsdale, AZ this week. Great friends and we wish them the best.

Just a funny picture of Austin. He crawled behind the couch to get a remote that had fallen. He had no trouble getting to it and then turning around to make his exit. That's one bad thing about reclining sofas is that you can't put them right up against the wall.
