Look what I can do!

While we were in Iowa Austin started sitting up without falling backward all by himself! Well, he can't get to the sitting position by himself yet, but I can sit him up and if he sees something he wants he'll fall on his tummy to crawl to it. His second tooth also came in last week and I can feel another swollen spot where another is about to come through. Here he is in the bathtub. I think his big belly is balancing him!

He is growing up too fast for me. Sometimes we wonder if we're done having kids. When I do have the thought that we could be done I then think Austin needs to slow down for me to enjoy the baby stages a little bit longer. He is such a happy baby. Even when he's tired he will sit and smile or giggle at us for the longest time. He absolutely loves his brothers. He watches their every move.

Step 1: pull up using daddy's shorts to get to my knees.

Step 2: lean forward a bit more and stand up!!!

Step 3: manuveur to the step stool and try the same thing. Oh wow! Hey look at me.

He did end up falling over, but there were no tears. What a tough kid!
