Last Thurs. I drove up to Iowa with my dad, Austin and Shawn. My older brother Ryan graduated from Law school. We picked up my grandma and aunt on the way in Kansas City. Mom had been up there for two weeks to help with their new baby. Austin was such a trooper and I couldn't believe how good he was each way for the 11 hour drive. Chris was so sweet to keep the older boys here. They had a fun time going to the Rangers game and just hanging out. I think out of all of my siblings Ryan makes the best lawyer! Mom and dad always told us when we were growing up that he and I should go to law school. We were great at arguing our case!

Austin was taking a nap in Ryans' guest bedroom and I peeked in to check on him and he was trying to play Ryans guitar! Luckily he didn't pull too many papers off of the book shelf.

And the newest member of the Dalton Gang Emily Elaine. She is about 3 1/2 weeks old. If you look closely at the 2nd picture you can see her hair standing straight up. They'd just washed it and that's how it dried!

What a fun trip! How exciting for Ryan and his family! That was so nice of Austin to be so good for you on the road. Spencer was not so good on our little 5-hour trip to San Antonio. Welcome back!

How fun you could go up there for all the celebrating. Even better that you only had to have Austin with you. Being the mother of one is probably such a breeze for you at this point! Congrats to Ryan on everything. Emily is such a cute little thing!
Did Ryan go to the University of Iowa? That's a great school, I visited it in April but had no idea your brother was there. Congrats to him!
Chris, Ryan was actually at Drake University. have you looked there?

I'm so glad you came up. It was so nice to see you and Austin. He is such a cutie. I loved how protective Kaitlyn was of him, especially with the laser light. The picture you have of all of us is perfect of Kaitlyn. That is a Kaitlyn face!
