My dad is a youth leader at church and tonight they did a lip sync activity. He told me about it a few weeks ago and I knew I had to go and see the live performance. Shawn (my brother) wasn't able to go because of a rugby game, and it was a shame too. He would've just loved his dad putting on such a show. He is in the red shirt to the right of the screen playing the guitar. Each age group performed a song. Dad, his assistant and the 17-18 year old boys put on the best show. They performed 'I'm a Soul Man' by the Blues Brothers. Dad is the shorter of the two in suits...he does most of the singing!
You can see the original song if you go to this link
I'm so proud of you dad. I'm sure the boys and maybe the other leaders didn't think you had it in you!

As a former member of the ward, was Bro. Dalton playing the guitar or in the suit? I'm confused.

The shorter of the two in the suit. Jaime, I didn't realize until recently that you weren't in their ward anymore. My brother Ryan is at Drake Univ. Law School...I've read Chris' blog about his frustrating application experience. Has he applied there? I only ask because Ryan was probably in the same situation as it sounds like Chris is in. If he wants to talk to him let me know!

Tell your dad he has nothing on me from camp days. He just gave it all away when he made this undercover appearance!

Thanks for sharing Mindy!
