Maternity idea...

For any of you that are pregnant or will be someday I had a great find shopping for maternity clothes this weekend. I have been looking for a while for a long black maternity skirt. Up until last Sunday I'd been wearing my REGULAR black skirt and I'd had enough of it digging into my lower abdomen. So, I was shopping with my mom and sister at Kohl's and their pickings for maternity items are slim. But as we were leaving we passed the womens sizes. Lo and behold there was a black stretchy skirt right on the isle. Mom said, "Mindy I wonder if that would work for you." So, I tried a 1x on. It fit great around my belly but was quite wide around my legs. I thought though, that I could hem the skirt up to the 'belly band' and it'd look great. I went home and after the boys went to bed pulled out my sewing machine and hemmed it up. It was great and I was so comfortable on Sunday...(on those darn hard chairs in primary). I am sure some of you have already tried this, but I am pretty excited. The skirt was on sale too, which is nice since I only have at the most 9 1/2 weeks left. I was able to find some other clothes that will hopefully last me until the end.

That's exactly what I've done this time around! About half of my "maternity" clothes are regular clothes. Sometimes I don't think they're as cute, but they have been cheaper and there are lots more to choose from! I need to check out kohl's again. I didn't realize you were so close either! I want to see another picture! I still have 11 weeks left (although we're thinking she will come 1-2 weeks early)
