I wanted to share this story of Cameron. Friday, Colin had a friend over and we went swimming. Camerons arm floaties for the past two years had to be thrown away and he won't wear the new ones I bought for him. So, this trip to the pool I told Cam I would swim with him and he could use the noodles to help him float. He did great. I was very impressed with his progress. He even played on the steps and put himself under quite a few times. The boys rode their bikes to the pool and while we were getting ready to go Cameron was riding his around the pool. There is plenty of sidewalk and trees to venture through. Right as we were leaving he had his eyes on Colin and Jackson and he RODE HIS BIKE RIGHT INTO THE POOL! Thank goodness we'd just been practicing treading water...because he just kicked and kicked until I jumped in to pull him out. There were a few men there as well, and helped pull the bike out. Funny part is, is that it didn't phase him at all. He just got on his bike and was ready to ride again. I am grateful for that so he won't be afraid of the water next time!
Another one...we were putting the boys to bed tonight and were trying to read some scriptures. The boys seem to really get silly about this time of night and they try to climb all over Chris. We were trying to be serious and asked the boys to calm down. Cameron looked at Chris and said, "you want a piece of me?" and spanked Chris on the bum. He did it a few other times and we had to laugh! Cameron thought he'd bend over and show us where his bum crack is, too. So then he said "bum crack" and spanked Chris on the bum again. It was all over after that. The mood was ruined, but at least we were laughing, right. Cameron has such a fun personality (just like daddy)!
The boys have been playing together so well lately. Of course they're in the stage of arguing back and forth (yes/no...yes/no), but they enjoy wrestling and get along wonderfully! It's been great.

That is the funniest story about Cameron and his bike! (Glad he's okay though!) Not too many people get to brag about rescuing their bike from under water - bet he'll be talking this one up for years!
I'm glad my husband isn't the only one that gets a kick out of teaching his kids words like 'bum crack'!
