Chris and I decided to 'kill two birds with one stone' the weekend of my birthday. His grandma threw a surprise 80th bday party for grandpa and we really wanted to attend. Esp. since we got to attend my grandmas' this summer while we were vacationing. It was a great reason to get away (JUST THE TWO OF US) and celebrate my 30th and his gpa's 80th. My mom was so gracious to stay with our kids for 5 days! It was nice to be able to visit our families without entertaining our children too. Such a nice get away.
