The end of Summer

As I said in an earlier post summer has been great. We've been to the pool a ton, seen some movies, conquered potty training in just a few days, watched too much tv, played way too many video games, played with friends, made a lot of cookies, gave our lawn a lot of TLC, painted one wall in the family room, went to the main fire stations' safety town to ride the bikes, and played with some toys here and there. But school starts next Monday and the kids are ready. Mom is ready! Although Austin will be very bored without so much entertainment.the lawn is finally looking greenwe're so slow with the painting process.

I'll have to post a video sometime of Austin swimming. His arm floaties and ring float got a hole in them the other day and we weren't ready to leave the pool. So, he kept running from side to side and belly-flopping into the water. He actually was coming back up. It is cute.
